Belly Dance is a dance originating in the Middle East, typically performed by a woman and involving undulating movements of the belly and rapid gyration of the hips.
Our drill based workshops embody a signature Belly Fusion Style. We will focus on posture and body control while doing some isolations and various movements with different parts of the body. We will articulate defining layers involving our arms and upper body, torso and hips while incorporating shimmies, shakes and pops and all things Belly Dance Fusion.

Twerking is a set of dance moves that originated in West Africa (particularly amongst the Mapouka people of Ivory Coast), and spread throughout the African Diaspora. A dance mostly by women where you shake your booty up and down. It also came to the scene in New Orleans in the late 1980's. In 2013, it became the top "What is" search on the Google search engine, due to being popularized again by Miley Cyrus.
This is a super cardio, booty class combined with hip hop dance moves. We will practice all the sequences in which you can get your derriere movin' (booty rockin') to twerk appropriate music. You will be instructed on Iridessa's signature moves in a choreographed combination step by step. In this class there will be an emphasis on rhythm and musicality that will have you workin' and twerkin'! Come and learn to shake, wiggle, wobble and gyrate your booty!
